Senior HR Generalist

The Senior HR Generalist plays a key role for this fast-growing, leading Coin Operated Amusement Machine (COAM) company in GA with explosive historic year over year growth and expected continued growth through mergers & acquisitions and organic growth.
Reporting to the Head of HR, the Senior HR Generalist will be instrumental in supporting day-to-day operations as well as execution of the Company’s long-term People Plan. The successful candidate will be one who is comfortable “rolling up their sleeves” and learning the business, developing internal and external relationship, and thrives in a fast-paced, solutions-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ownership of key internal processes, including but not limited to onboarding/offboarding, partnering with payroll on bi-weekly payroll support, 401(k) administration, and continuous process improvement etc.
- Education and Training – Ensure mandatory training and continuing education is complete and documented, including safety training, code of conduct and handbook training, anti-harassment training and certifications required. Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, changes to regulations, new technology breakthroughs in HR, talent, and employment law. Conduct onboarding and new employee orientation.
- Benefits – Assist employees with benefit programs and all leave requests. Work closely with the Human Resource team on the annual Open Enrollment period. Comply with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Employee Relations – Manage details and coordination of disciplinary discussions, terminations, and investigations.
- Ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Key Competencies and Experiences
- Experience with the human resources information system (HRIS), particularly ADP Total Source
- Knowledge of HR labor and employment law, and the ability to interpret, apply and articulate this knowledge in support of business initiatives.
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in Human Resources; 5+ preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field strongly preferred
- Strong ability to multitask.
- Superb conflict resolution skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
