Swap Technician
Position Summary
The Swap Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of gaming equipment at customer locations. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. The technician will manage daily service calls efficiently, ensure prompt resolution of technical issues, and maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all work performed, parts utilized, and service activities to support operational excellence.

The ideal candidate is methodical, task focused, goal orientated, a self-starter, and someone that can follow instructions. This person will need to be able to work safely and quickly, while preparing games/equipment for delivery and installation at locations around the state of Georgia.

Responsibilities
  • Stage equipment for delivery
  • Deliver games to customer sites.
  • Install game equipment at customer locations.
  • Troubleshoot problems while staging and placing the equipment onsite.
  • Test new installations for proper performance.
  • Communicate with supervisor regarding install status and progress.
  • Provide customers with basic operating instructions for the new equipment.
  • Clean up after the installation job is complete.
  • Maintain work vehicle.
  • Complete all necessary documentation related to game installations.
  • Ensure a safe warehouse environment by keeping an organized work area and by keeping the back and outside of the warehouse clean.
  • Completion of continuing education for safe handling and assembly of the equipment as needed.
  • Having a desire to learn more about the COAM (Coin Operated Amusement Machine) industry.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of one to three years technical experience.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Proficient with basic PC skills.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Frequently required to drive over 150 miles a day
  • Clean driving record.
  • Must have a flexible work schedule availability, some evenings, and weekends.
  • Experience operating certain power equipment is a plus.
  • Must be able to bend, stand, reach, pull, lift and carry items.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow
